What is TableTurn?

TableTurn is a restaurant point-of-sale system built by Electronic Payments, Inc. (EPI). It runs on Android stations and handhelds, and it is managed from a web portal, so menus, settings and reports are available from anywhere. Cloud9 is a credit card processing company: we handle the processing behind the register, and we install and support TableTurn for the merchants we process for in Northeast Ohio. This guide is what our techs hand a new location.

Cloud-managed, but not cloud-dependent

The web portal is where menus are built and reports are read. The register itself does not stop when the internet does: stations and printers keep talking to each other over the local network, and card payments still go through. When the connection comes back, everything syncs.

Hardware, software and processing in one

TableTurn is sold as a bundle: the stations and handhelds, the software, and the card processing behind it. It is sold and supported through certified local resellers rather than direct, which is why your first call for anything is Cloud9, not a national help desk.

Register or floor plan

The same system runs two service styles. In table-service mode, opening Register shows the floor plan, and orders belong to tables. In quick-service mode, Register opens straight to the menu and orders are taken at the counter. The choice is made once, for the whole organization, and it shapes what staff see when they sign in.
