The difference between a void and a refund

A void cancels an order that has not been batched yet, typically the same day. It needs a reason from a drop-down list and can take a note. A refund reverses a transaction that has already batched and settled, in full or for specific items. Since version 286, refunds can also be issued from the web portal as well as at the station.
