Inventory and 86'ing

TableTurn counts inventory per item, if you ask it to, and it can take an item off the menu by itself when the count reaches zero. The Fresh Sheet is the list every station and the portal can see of what is out.

Turning on inventory for an item

Two places:

• In the web portal, on the item's edit screen.
• On the register: press and hold the item, then tap Update Inventory. Useful when the kitchen tells you there are six specials left.

What happens at zero

Each tracked item has a rule for hitting zero stock:

• Take no action. The count shows zero; the item still sells.
• Auto-86 the item. It comes off the register until someone restocks it.
• Reset to the initial stock count.
• Reset current stock daily. For a fixed number of specials per day.

The Fresh Sheet

The Fresh Sheet is the running list of everything currently 86'd. It is visible from the lock screen tab and in the web portal, so a server can check it before the shift and a manager can use it as the restocking list.
