Staff, cash drawers and printers

The Management module in the web portal is where a manager fixes a clock-in, pays out tips and pulls the end-of-shift checkout. Drawers and banks track cash per shift, and the Printer Center shows every printer's status.

Management module

• Edit an employee's clock-in and clock-out times.
• Process tip payouts.
• Pull the server checkout report generated at the end of each shift.

Since version 286, clock-in and clock-out and access-card linking also work on handhelds and mobile devices.

Cash drawers and server banks

The Device Drawers & Server Banks screen lists both. A drawer belongs to a device, a bank belongs to a server, and each is opened and closed per shift, so cash is reconciled per shift rather than per day. New Drawer on that screen starts one.

Printer Center

The Printer Center lists every receipt and remote printer (kitchen, bar, expo) in the organization with a status dot, green for online. Each printer has Pause and View Jobs buttons, and All Jobs shows every job across printers and whether it completed. It is the first place to look when a ticket did not print.

Kitchen routing

Routing is set per item during the menu build: each item is assigned to the remote printer for the station that makes it. Since version 286 one open item can print to several prep stations at once, so a plate that needs the grill and the fry station goes to both.
